Stanbic Bank is on the SWIFT network using the code SBICUGKX. Transfers to us should be made using the MT100 or MT202 format either directly where we have BKE arrangements with the remitting bank or via our overseas correspondent bank where we do not. When using overseas which are not on the SWIFT network, transfer should be made by telegraphic transfer directly to us where testing arrangements are in place or directly to our correspondent bank where they are not. In the letter case the overseas bank must instruct our correspondent bank to SWIFT advice us of the transfer. Failure to do this will delay the payment.
